May 2015 seems but a distant memory, in hindsight it can be all too easy to forget the passion, energy and sheer grit that went into electing the first Majority Conservative Government in 18 years.
Whilst we have always appreciated every minute our activists give to us, we are not alone in recognising this. To thank us for all our hard work, and the success that it brought, the Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan paid Manchester CF a visit this conference.
Mrs Morgan outlined the crucial role Manchester CF plays in Greater Manchester, and spoke with over 100 members throughout the evening thanking them for their contribution; it is so, so important to note the sheer dedication of our activist army who contribute so much to the Conservative Party.
Whilst speaking to the assembled Tories, Mrs Morgan, who is also the Minister for Women and Equalities outlined the measures this Government is taking to tackle homophobic bullying, the gender pay-gap and ensure everyone has the best possible opportunities in life no matter what their gender, race or sexuality.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Mrs Morgan for generously coming to visit us and rallying the troops ahead of tough local elections fight next summer.

Chairman, Manchester CF
